Important information for this voyage (Update: 1st February 2023):

• Health questionnaire:: Before embarkation, the body temperature of all arriving guests will be taken. A body temperature of less than 37.5 °C is required for travel on board. A daily medical questionnaire will be filled out and handed in at embarkation.
  
  
• Fully vaccinated:: Vaccination is no longer compulsory on all river cruises. For ocean cruises with the MS Hamburg, all guests aged 12 and over require a full COVID 19 vaccination. To be considered fully vaccinated, three individual vaccinations must have been given. In the constellation with a recovery, two individual vaccinations are recognised as an exception. From 06 April 2023, there will no longer be any travel restrictions, provided that the entry conditions of the destination areas permit this. Accepted vaccines are BioNTech/Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna (Spikevax), Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) and AstraZeneca/Covishield (Vaxzevria). Proof of vaccination or convalescent status is provided exclusively via the digital EU-COVID-19 certificate with QR code and can be presented either digitally or in paper form. If Plantours Cruises requires a copy of your digital EU-COVID-19 certificate with QR code prior to departure due to country-specific requirements, you will be requested by the tour operator to submit it.
  
  
• Testing prior to the cruise/at the port terminal:: For river voyages testing is no longer mandatory. For ocean voyages with the MS Hamburg, a rapid test will be carried out on site until 06 April 2023. Children under 12 years of age who are neither vaccinated nor recovered require a negative PCR test (max. 72 hours old) or antigen test (max. 48 hours old). As of 06 April 2023, a test is no longer required for ocean voyages.
  
  
• Testing during the cruise:: If further COVID-19 testing is necessary due to regulatory requirements and/or onboard medical needs, it will be conducted accordingly.
  
  
• Mouth and nose protection:: Wearing a medical mouth-nose protection or FFP2 mask is not mandatory but recommended. Subject to changes on board at short notice. Please note that in some regions masks are mandatory on public transport, buses and other areas.
  
  
• Shore excursions::At the current time, individual shore excursions are possible according to local conditions, subject to changes in the destinations at short notice. Due to country-specific requirements, deviations or changes at short notice are possible.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special test and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
  
• Recommendation: Due to the pandemic, the hygiene, test, vaccination and/or entry requirements may change at short notice before the start of the journey. We therefore recommend that you check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in good time before your trip (Plantours).
