Important information for this voyage (update: 24th March 2023):

  • Embarkation requirement:
    At the current time, there is no requirement for proof of a vaccination, recovery or testing certificate. Carrying the digital EU COVID-19 certificate is recommended.

  • Antigen rapid test at embarkation: Currently not required, a self-test is recommended.

  • Shore excursions: Individual shore leave is allowed, subject to changes by the local authorities. To use the audio equipment during the excursions you have to bring your own headphones. Alternatively, single-use headphones can be purchased on board.

  • Mouth and nose protection: On board there is no longer an obligation to wear a mouth and nose protection, subject to necessary changes on board. Please note that masks are compulsory in public transport and buses as well as regionally in other areas. Therefore, always carry a sufficient number of medical masks and FFP2 masks with you.

  • Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special test and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.

  • Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. Some countries require an online registration prior entry, the time limits and regulations vary. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.

With your cruise documents you will receive a code with which you can choose your connection to/from the port and with which you can redeem the train ticket. The train voucher can be used to travel at the day of the cruise or one day before and/or one day after the cruise. The validity of the train ticket for travels up to 100 km is one day at the day of validation and for travels more than 100 km two days from the day of validation and ends at 03:00h at the following day of the last validation. For travels up to 100 km the voyage has to start at the day that is written on the ticket.
