Important information for this voyage (udpate: 13th February 2023):

• Web check-in and health questionnaire: From 10 days before embarkation, you can download your tickets by filling in a short questionnaire on MyCosta about your health.
  
  
• COVID-19 vaccination/recovery required: You need to be vaccinated according to the requirements of the countries you are travelling.
  
  
• Test before embarkation: Antigen testing will no longer be required prior to embarkation for all guests, regardless of age or vaccination status, and on all cruises shorter than 16 days. For guests on cruises in South America or lasting 16 days or more (Grand Cruises from Europe to South America, to the Caribbean and the United Arab Emirates and vice versa, and the World Cruise), pre-embarkation antigen testing will still be required. Special rules apply to guests whose flight comes from China: In this case, the test must be carried out within 48 hours before embarkation time. For guests from Hong Kong, the test is only required for embarkation on the Costa Toscana in Doha (Qatar).
  
  
• Mouth and nose protection: For transatlantic cruises and world cruises, wearing the mask is compulsory for the first 7 days. Subject to necessary changes on board.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special test and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
• Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.

Note on pre-existing conditions:: Due to an increased risk of a severe course of a COVID-19 infection, people with pre-existing conditions such as

• severe/chronic respiratory insufficiencies (e.g. oxygen demand or respiratory support)
• Immunosuppression (e.g. related to an organ transplant, chemotherapy, or in other cases where people are taking meds that suppress the immune system, such as cortisone)
