Additional Remarks
Important information for this voyage (last update 16th January 2023):
- Prior departure: For high seas cruises you will receive the actual test regulations with your travel documents. If necessary you will need to undergo an antigen rapid test prior departure day and/or on embarkation.
For river cruises there won't be any test regulations since 2023 season. - COVID-19 vaccination required: For high seas cruises all guests 12 years and above need to be fully vaccinated. If the second dose is older than 9 months (for summer cruises and 3 months for winter and world cruises) a booster vaccination is needed or a recovery certificate (valid from 29 days prior positive PCR test for summer cruises and 29 to 90 days for winter and world cruises).
- Antigen rapid tests while cruising: Antigen rapid tests are available on board so that they can be used if needed.
- Mouth and nose protection: At the moment, there is no obligation to wear a mask on board, but there is a recommendation. Subject to necessary changes on board.
- Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the
Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special test and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
- Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
Family discount: Children and adolscents aged between 2 and 19 years travel for a smaller cruise price when sleeping on an additional bed in the cabin and sharing the cabin with two adults.
Please note that the main onboard language is German, and that there is no special program for English speaking guests.
