Important information for this voyage (udpate: 3rd May 2022):

• Web check-in and health questionnaire: The web check-in opens directly after the booking confirmation. The health questionnaire must be filled in at earliest 72 hours prior departure. Please arrive at the cruise terminal within your assigned check-in time to speed up test and embarkation procedures.
  
  
• COVID-19 vaccination required: All passengers being 12 years and older need to be fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19. You are considered fully vaccinated if you have received a booster vaccination, are 2 times vaccinated + recovered from COVID-19 or if you have been infected and received a vaccination afterwards (limited on 270 days). In every case the guests need to show proof by paper or digitally.
  
  
• Test before embarkation: All guests being 2 years and older need to show proof of a negative antigen rapid test result not older than 48 hours prior embarkation.
  
  
• During the cruise: Wearing a mask is still required on board. The ships are cruising with full quantity, the entertainment program is back at 100 % and the buffet is again a self-service buffet.
  
  
• Shore leave: At the moment individual shore leave is permitted.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations. After a stay in a foreign high-risk or virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special registration, verification and quarantine obligation must be observed (high-risk area: proof of vaccination/recovery exempts you from quarantine right after the upload of the proof, proof of testing reduces the minimum quarantine to 5 days, quarantine automatically ends after the fifth day following entry into Germany for children between 6-12 years). Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
  
• Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.

Note on pre-existing conditions:: Due to an increased risk of a severe course of a COVID-19 infection, people with pre-existing conditions such as

• severe/chronic respiratory insufficiencies (e.g. oxygen demand or respiratory support)
• Immunosuppression (e.g. related to an organ transplant, chemotherapy, or in other cases where people are taking meds that suppress the immune system, such as cortisone)
