Important information for this voyage (Update: 24th March 2023):

• Fully vaccinated & booster vaccination:: All guests 12 years and older must be vaccinated with all required vaccine doses by 14 days prior to departure. In addition, booster vaccination is required as soon as you are eligible for it. Proof of vaccination will be required at embarkation. COVID-19 vaccination for voyages to and from the USA as well as from and to Europe is currently no longer required. Accepted vaccines are any that have received emergency or conventional approval from the FDA, EMA or WHO: Pfizer-BioNtech (Comirnaty), Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Johnson & Johnson (Jansen), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Covishield (AstraZeneca), Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin (Bharat) and Convidecia. Cross-vaccinations are accepted by Azamara as long as the vaccine doses were given at least 28 days apart and were FDA/EMA/WHO approved. Evidence of recovery is not currently sufficient.
  
  
• COVID-19 tests upon embarkation:: No further COVID-19 testing is required for the cruise prior to departure. Exceptions are certain ports of embarkation (list here), where prior testing is still required according to national regulations (PCR test max. 3 days prior embarkation or antigen rapid test max. 1 day prior embarkation)
  
  
• Mouth and nose protection:: The cruise line recommends wearing mouth and nose protection. Subject to necessary changes on board. Please note that in some regions masks are compulsory on public transport and buses and in other areas.
  
  
• Shore excursions:: At the current time, individual shore excursions are possible in most destinations (according to local conditions, subject to last-minute changes in destinations). Guests who are not fully vaccinated may not be allowed to go ashore in some ports or may be required to provide proof of another test for shore leave. If a negative test result is required for shore leave, COVID-19 testing will be conducted on board. The cruise line recommends booking an excursion through Azamara and has suspended shuttle service in ports until further notice.
  
  
• COVID-19 testing prior disembarking:: Guests who are required to present a negative COVID-19 test as a pre-requisite to returning home can take the test onboard (59 $ for an antigen rapid test, 85 $ for a PCR test). Please contact Guest Relations while onboard.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special test and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
  
• Recommendation: Due to the pandemic, the hygiene, test, vaccination and/or entry requirements can change at short notice before the start of the journey. We therefore recommend that you check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in good time before your trip.

Passport required: For all voyages with Azamara, a valid passport is required.
