• Web Check-in, time slot & Health questionnaire: Please fill in the health questionnaire max. 72 hours prior embarkation. This is obligatory to give proof of the vaccination and for checking in. The easiest way is via the navigator app. For entering Hawaii please register here.
  
  
• COVID-19 vaccination required: This cruise can only be booked by fully vaccinated persons older than 5 years, that got the second dose of the vaccination at least 14 days prior departure. Children under 5 years do not need a vaccination. Children between 5-11 years of age may be unvaccinated but will need to go through an exemption process and may be subject to additional testing, fees and protocols. Acceptable proofs of full vaccination include: COVID-19 vaccination card (original card only; no photocopies accepted); digital COVID-19 certificate (QR code acceptable); or record of COVID-19 vaccination from a healthcare provider including original digital email notification, personal electronic health record, or government Immunization information system (IIS) record. The proof needs to be shown at embarkation. If the last vaccination shot is older than 9 months (270 days), you will need a booster vaccination for embarkation.
  
  
• Antigen rapid test before arriving at the terminal/embarkation: For all cruises (except Norwegian fjords with MS Rotterdam in July 2022) in Europe you need a negative antigen or PCR test result that is not older than 72 hours at the embarkation. For Greece cruises you will need a negative test result not older than 24 hours. If this is not possible, Holland America Line offers you a complimentary test at the terminal. For cruises in the US/Canada the time of your test depends on your vaccination status and the regulations of the countries.
  
  
• Mouth and nose protection: At the moment, there is no obligation to wear a mask on board, but there is a recommendation. Subject to necessary changes on board.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special registration, verification and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
  
• Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
