Important information for this voyage (Update: 26th April 2022):

• Fully vaccinated: All guests must be fully vaccinated, the last vaccination dose must have been given at least 14 days before departure and there must be an interval of at least 28 days between vaccinations. All guests who are eligible for a booster are required to have their booster dose in order to embark. Vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) are accepted: Pfizer-BioNtech (Comirnaty), Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Johnson & Johnson (Jansen), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Covishield (AstraZeneca), Sinopharm, Sinovac and Covaxin (Bharat). Mixed doses will be accepted. Acceptable proof of vaccination (original vaccination record document) must be presented. Proof of recovery is not accepted at the moment.
  
  
• COVID-19 tests upon embarkation & during the cruise: Within the port terminal, an antigen rapid test for all guests will be completed free of charge. Whilst cruising there will be free tests on board. As of 1st May 2022, COVID-19 tests will no longer be carried out during embarkation. Instead, all guests will require proof of a certified negative COVID-19 test (either a rapid antigen test or a PCR test), which must be no more than one (rapid antigen test) or three (PCR test) days old at embarkation. A rapid antigen test is available locally for $59 per test. During the cruise or for the return journey, there is also a testing option on board. The current cost is 59 $ for a rapid antigen test and 85 $ for a PCR test.
  
  
• Shore excursions: Individual shore excursions are possible in some destinations. Mixed vaccines may not be accepted at all ports of call. Concerned guests may not be allowed to go ashore at these ports or may need to undergo additional testing. The cruise line recommends booking a shore excursion through Azamara and has suspended the shuttle service in the ports until further notice.
  
  
• Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations. After a stay in a foreign high-risk or virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special registration, verification and quarantine obligation must be observed (high-risk area: proof of vaccination/recovery exempts you from quarantine right after the upload of the proof, proof of testing reduces the minimum quarantine to 5 days, quarantine automatically ends after the fifth day following entry into Germany for children between 6-12 years). Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
  
  
• Recommendation: Due to the pandemic, the test, vaccination and/or entry requirements can change at short notice before the start of the journey. We therefore recommend that you check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in good time before your trip.

Passport required: For all voyages with Azamara, a valid passport is required.
