The MSC Magnifica belongs to the Musica class. The ship was put into service in 2010 and was last renovated in 2014 and 2021. The MSC Magnifica is 293.80 metres long and has room for 2,518 passengers (based on double occupancy of cabins), who will find fun and variety for the whole family on board. The public areas and cabins are modern and colourful. The MSC Magnifica lives up to its Italian name ("grand" or "magnificent"). Family cruises are particularly popular with the MSC Magnifica. About MSC Cruises
Welcome aboard MSC Cruises! The cruise line was founded in 1970 and is the cruise division of the container shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company. MSC Cruises is the world's largest privately family-owned cruise line (Aponte family) and has many years of expertise on the seven seas. MSC Magnifica Staterooms
The staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, minibar and safe. The interior staterooms measure about 13 sqm, the oceanview staterooms about 14-16 sqm. The balcony staterooms already have 14-18 sqm and the suites between 23 and 25 sqm, depending on the category. The suites are equipped with a bathtub.
The sizes of the staterooms in the MSC Yacht Club range from approx. 20 to 50 sqm. The Royal Suite even has a balcony measuring approx. 78 sqm and a private whirlpool.
Atmosphere on board the MSC Magnifica
On board the MSC Magnifica, it's like landing in a well-kept holiday hotel: good food, a wide range of sports, comfortable staterooms and many entertainment options. Even at this relaxed and casual atmosphere, festive attire is recommended two nights a week in the main restaurants. - L'Oasi & Sahara (buffet restaurant): A variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet await you in the oriental-style restaurant.
- L'Edera (main restaurant): Taste freshly prepared dishes in an elegant ambience.
- Quattro Venti (main restaurant): Enjoy fine dining in the à la carte restaurant.
Guests in the MSC Yacht Club have access to an exclusive restaurant offering gourmet creations and five-star service.
There is a surcharge for the following speciality restaurants:

A large open-air pool complex and an indoor pool with a movable roof invite you to swim and relax. Try your luck in the casino or experience an impressive show in the 4D cinema. The 1,200-seat theatre offers breathtaking Broadway-style shows.
Guests of the MSC Yacht Club can relax on the exclusive sun deck with pool, whirlpool and cosy cabanas. The MSC Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge also offers breathtaking views of the sea.
MSC Magnifica children
There is plenty for children of all ages to discover on board. In various family game shows, children can challenge their parents or win prizes together as a family.
Childcare is also provided for your children: babies and toddlers between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. During the day, 12 to 14-year-olds in the Young Club and 15 to 17-year-olds in the Teens Club can enjoy clubs equipped with the latest consoles, games and VR technology. The Teens Club also offers special events such as an exclusive teens' edition of the Silent Disco.

Confirmation of stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, the cruise line reserves the right to change the stateroom after the booking.
MSC Voyages Club member numbers or vouchers: Please inform us about these within your reservation. The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay, debited from the on-board account after departure from the port
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port), debited from the on-board account the evening before the respective call and, in case of remaining in the port on board, refunded within 24 hours

Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
