AIDAaura is part of AIDAselection. AIDAselection is a program which was presented for the first time in 2016. The program is characterized by fascinating itineraries, exclusive ports, individual entertainment and focusses on slow cruising. The ships AIDAcara, AIDAvita and AIDAmira belong to the AIDAselection program as well.

The comfortable and colorful furnished staterooms invite you to relax on board. Interior staterooms are approx. 14.5 sqm in size and oceanview staterooms approx. 13.5-17 sqm. Both stateroom types can be booked by up to four travellers. The balcony staterooms offer approx. 20.5 sqm of space incl. balcony for up to two guests. The suites convince with a generous size of 57 sqm incl. approx. 25 sqm sundeck. Besides, the staterooms 6240 of category MA and 6242, 6144 and 7249 of category CA are wheelchair accessible. Regardless of the cabin category all staterooms are equipped with an air condition, a hair dryer, bathrobes, a telephone and a TV.

On board, guests of all ages feel comfortable. Travellers appreciate the informal and friendly atmosphere aboard the AIDA ships. A varied program as well as many sports activities offer interesting entertainment on board. Although a lot of variety is offered, there is always a quiet place where guests can retire with a good book or enjoy a delicious cocktail. A good place for a sundowner is the Anytime Bar with huge awnigns.

The Calypso Restaurant and the Markt Restaurant are buffet restaurants which are opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dishes at the buffets relate to different destinations. The ones who like to eat outside will find a wonderful place to enjoy the food on the terrace of the Calypso Restaurant. At the pool deck there is the Pool Grill and tasty burgers are offered. The Selection Restaurant is characterized by an à la carte service for dinner. Delicious menus are created for an additional fee. This restaurant is very popular and reservations are recommended. Numerous bars complete the culinary offers aboard.

There is a theater with well-staged shows that offers the right program for everyone. The variety ranges from singing, dancing and acrobatic performances. For many cruises special guests are invited and give presentations about the single ports and countries visited during the voyage. In the evenings the Anytime Bar changes into a disco and one can dance at the inside and outside area of the bar. At the large 24-hour opened fitness area sports classes take place and many of them are free of cost. In addition the guests have the possibility to take part in water sports, biking or golf excursions. For relaxation one can book a wellness treatment at the Body & Soul Spa area or try one of the saunas which are free of cost.

According to the ship's size a personal and informal atmosphere is created and completed by a varied entertainment program. AIDAaura suits very well to guests who prefer smaller cruise ships and like to discover extraordinary ports.
